What We Offer

Our Early Career programme offers you a great introduction to Chubb and the world of insurance. You’ll gain exposure to a broad variety of corporate clients but also to a range of functions within the organisation. You’ll also get the opportunity to work closely with underwriters, clients and brokers, as you learn how to develop international insurance programmes for some of Europe’s largest multinational companies.

What Happens When I Finish My Programme?

Our programmes are designed to be a launch pad to a successful career with Chubb. The development and support offered throughout the programmes will ensure that you have a strong foundation to progress within the organisation – and you will also have the opportunity to be referred for future vacancies.

Early Career Development Programme

This one year programme gives you the chance to develop a wide range of commercial skills and could potentially lead to a number of roles within Underwriting, Claims or Operations. Based in a regional office, you will need to be mobile within the EMEA region.

You must have at least 9 months’ work experience to apply. You should be able to demonstrate intellectual agility, curiosity and a keen interest in developing a career in a global insurance business.

For individuals at the early stages of their careers, we offer a wide range of programmes, placements and entry-level opportunities.

Seasonal Internship

Who’s it for?

College or university students are eligible for our seasonal internship, which lasts between 4 to 12 weeks depending on the programme available and the time of the year.

Apprenticeships

Lloyd’s Apprenticeship Programme UK

We offer apprenticeships in partnership with Lloyd’s in the UK. Apprentices are offered placements with Chubb as part of their 12-month rotational programme with Lloyd’s.

Who’s it For?

The programme is aimed at school leavers who are currently studying for A Levels or equivalent and are considering a career within the insurance sector.

Work Experience

The Programme

Our UK Work Experience Programme is for students looking for a work experience placement of up to four weeks with a leading insurance business. The programme gives you the chance to gain some hands-on experience, develop your knowledge of the insurance industry and explore the careers available at Chubb in the UK. Please note: this programme is unpaid.

The programme is aimed at those in school or college.
